“Dance like no one is watching”. We all let our hair down once in a while my friend. When no one is watching of course….

I told the breeder that my boy Baldurdash (a Norwegian Elkhound) pranced and she said, with some affronted dignity, that no male dog from her kennel had EVER pranced. The next time I took him over to board, the breeder told me ‘Dash had, indeed, pranced during his training walks. Hey! It’s the twenty-first century!

Master shifu kung fu panda 577×547ShadStar got contaminated 2 days ago

We get too much Chloramine in our water, I sometimes think that I am drinking straight from a swimming pool it is that strong. Some of our canine friends have discerning taste ;)

Sounds like you need the carbon block filter for point of use on your main faucet. If you are willing to spend, get a whole house one of those. If there would be a flow reduction problem on a whole house unit then get two and hook them up in parallel. I have read that the block filter is more thorough in filtering the contaminants than the granular ones as the article claimed that water will find its way through select “channels” rather than being made to go through all of it.

I am on a well currently and can only filter so much as the carbon filters do not remove the “white minerals” but carbon does sweeten the water. I use bottled water from a 30 cent a gallon refill station at Sprouts Market. Too much mineral content will make tart drinks, like tea, go flat. Buffalo, NY water, where I come from, is like drinking a swimming pool. Different configurations of filters are easily online searched. Please don’t go on drinking that garbage straight off the tap.
