Only use those bags for pantyhose when I have to wear same for work.
Currently being used to wash Covid-19 masks. The ones I made which can go in the dryer in go in one bag and the ones we bought which can’t go in the other.
Husband does own a large mesh bag that he uses when he “finishes” his weaving pieces (by washing them) in the washer so that the pieces do not get stuck on anything in the washer.

Are you a plugger, if you never had a mesh laundry bag? If something is too delicate, I just wash it by hand, it only takes less than a minute.

I was issued 2 mesh laundry bags in navy boot camp in 1960s. Still use them for socks, and don’t lose any.

Or you still have them from your Navy days. Shipboard laundries required them for Sailor’s clothes.
