The world has demonstrated a lot about what can happen when small children correspond with adults with out parental knowledge. Not much of what it’s demonstrated has been good. :-|

I say again—what’s keeping Mike there? Why not follow her, as long as she’d be OK with it? He’s already far away from the old gang, and his job is about over, if the company goes under.

Is this an inappropriate juncture to comment that many “right-wingers” give the indication of having at least slightly fewer problems with the idea of non-platonic adult/child relationships than do “left-wingers” in general? In those states where child marriage is still legal, it’s “Christian fundamentalists”, not “liberals”, who are fighting to keep it that way. Don’t take my word for it, feel free look into it for yourselves. :-|
