I almost had the same problem Friday…the pizza guy had to call me and I had to stand outside (which in late summer Texas heat you don’t want to do too much of) to guide him to the house…

I don’t blame Garfield. This happens to me sometimes when I order something off GrubHub and want it delivered to my work place, but it gets sent to the wrong address

You would think that with all the pizzas you go through, the guy would know exactly where you live by now.

I want to know how Garfield pays for the pizza.

‘Couple years ago there was a snowstorm and it was (naturally) cold, so I didn’t want to do takeaway pizza – I ordered it delivered. Twenty minutes later I got a call from the driver – she was stuck in a snowbank. So I bundled up – got into my truck – went to her location – and towed her out.

So the pizza was cold – but I got a warm ‘thank you’ hug from the lady – altogether a good night.

Reminds me of a story I once experienced. See, my mom had just won 25 dollars off of a lottery ticket she bought (she rarely does), and we had ordered food which, in total, had costed about 25 dollars. My next door neighbours got the food by mistake, and had paid the 25 dollars the meal costed. So, we technically got the food free, with a 200% discount.

Unless it’s Detroit and he got pizza-jacked

I almost feel sorry for Garfield. Almost.

Yep, some blues are worse than others.

Word. Have had that happen a few times late at night when I was working on something that had to get done. In the moment that is about the worst thing ever – especially when you call to find out what happened, discovered that someone already took your pizza and the place is closing and not sending out a replacement.

Interesting. Pizza guy showed up at my house tonight, but I didn’t order a pizza. Didn’t realize it was Garfield’s.
