Old Red should be running a department store.
Son, never listen to blondes in convertibles. They’ll get you in trouble.
Summer is going to end, sorry!!
Such a deal!
Why not penny lemonade or 2 cent lemonade?
Is that a 60-63 Plymouth? Not a Ford or GM. BTW, Red ask miss advice how she got the car!
OH, NO!!! Don’t let the summer end!
I don’t think you can really even break even with 5 cent lemonade.
20 cent lemonade – maybe
Some folks should just keep their comments to them selves. Red was perfectly fine without being told what to do.
Oy!
My best guess – late ’50s “forward look” Chrysler product.
At that price, I’ll take 2!
Rover is so bored by the whole thing, lol!
Please, nobody try and guess what kind of car that is. Please.
Looks like a promising career in grocery marketing.
I love the way the car is drawn!
Quick with the advice but she ain’t buying…
Look, lady, if you really wanna help him, buy some lemonade!
There are times when this strip looks like it might be more modern and then there are times, like this, that bring the timeline back into perspective. Kind of nostalgic for some of us, that’s for sure.
10 cents would be a good compromise.
Looks like a 1958 Plymouth
If he had started with that sign, he might have been sold out by now.
All good summers must come to an end. And with it, lemonade stands and ice cream trucks.
I’m looking forward to autumn.
These comments about being offended by (and rudely rebuffing) advice are simply frustrating. It is advice, not a personal attack. SMH
