I taught stage falls one year to a number of elementary school classes. It was great fun, the kids enjoyed it and we laughed a lot. By the end of the day I was tired and finally tripped and actually crashed into the wall. The kids, thankfully 4th graders with some sense, looked at me and blinked. Finally one child asked, “Ms Dawn, are you acting or did you really fall”. I told them that I needed some help and go ahead and find someone in the office. I was bleeding. The next day I came in and told the kids the doctors had practiced arts and crafts on me. The wound had been glued together and taped together. Lesson learned , no big stage falls when tired.
Alice is NOT being cooperative! Timmy Fretwork will have to be harsh with her. —Maybe ask her to volunteer.
Learning how to fall down is indeed important to combat stagecraft, martial arts, and generally any activity where falling down is likely to occur. —Such as walking….

Fretwork’s nuts! Dill is a pro and that fall was executed believably and with Dill’s characteristic style!

Alice must be left-handed. Either that or she dare not try this on Soapie.

At least Alice did not address Kevin as “Buckethead” before she tried to shove him.

First, demonstrate how it’s done. THEN ask for a volunteer.

Judging by Kevin’s hairline, I’d say he is familiar with face plants…
