As Oscar Wilde observed, “Moderation is a fatal thing… Nothing succeeds like excess.”

My first thought was the “Hog Report” WKRP!

A bit disappointing. We know that Don likes to exaggerate with the Clem character, but it’s a bit out of character for Don to assassinate one of his characters’ character.

Clem is in his element. Like his picture on the wall.

That’s something to brag about!

Social media is ruining our society because it gives people like Clem an outlet to disseminate their viewpoints and link up with like-minded individuals. That’s how formerly-isolated hate groups can now band together and become more vocal. It makes them appear to be larger and more influential than they truly are in real life. And this is precisely the image they want the public to perceive.

It’s sad that people like Clem actually exist and are now being enabled by technology.

The whole Hog and nothing but the Hog, so help me Hog…….

Moderation in all things, especially moderation.
