He’s messing with Katy’s head.

HA, Kat Campbell beat you to it — she posted a picture of her (yuck) pumpkin spice latte on Instagram 2 days ago.

(I know, you probably don’t know who Kat Campbell is unless you’re from around Raleigh NC or Huntsville AL)

Pumpkin spice. Now that’s a good way to ruin a cup of coffee.

I bought a cute pumpkin shaped hand soap dispenser for the kitchen sink. It’s filled with pumpkin spice soap. Now I smell like I’ve manhandled a pie.

I just bought two cans of Libby’s pumpkin at IGA (Yes, we have them here too). Now, that’s not a big deal to those of you in the US. But it is in regional Australia! :) And it didn’t even cost an arm and a leg gasp

So, I am one who likes most Pumpkin Spice products and was looking forward to certain products. I would get the drinks from the coffee shops and so forth, I would buy the flavors and make coffee at home but I really liked the Little Debbie Pumpkin Spice Rolls AND this year they said they weren’t making them. I found this out by contacting the company and I was totally blown away by that.:(

You can’t keep fall down like that. Autumn is insidious. It sneaks up on you with back to school and Halloween excitement and before you know it, you’re up to your elbows in dead leaves and maple syrup.

“You got your fall in my summer!”

“You got your summer in my fall!”

I rarely agree with her, but this time I do.

Don’t forget to not wear white after labor day too little one…..

I like her.

You’d have to dump a couple pails of hot water in here. It was in the 50’s the last two nights and that water would be freezing.

While pumpkins get ripe in the fall, the spices are available all year.

Tried a pumpkin spice latte once, didn’t care much for it. I will get my pumpkin spice fix in muffins and pumpkin pie.

Two observations:

(1) I thought Adam was something of a coffee purist, so he wouldn’t be likely to go for pumpkin spice latte. I guess his attitude is actually, “Any coffee is good coffee (unless it’s decaf).”

(2) In the next unseen panel, I’d like his reply to Katie to be, “Get out of my pool — yes, my pool, the one I bought and paid for — and take your obnoxious attitude with you!”

Pumpkin spice…Bah!

Pumpkin is spice is mostly cinammon and some other spices – no pumpkin. It got the name from being used in pumpkin pies. So, not really seasonal at all.

It can get pretty bad if you let it.

Around here, Starbucks had their Pumpkin Spice Latte season start 2 weeks ago tomorrow…
