    5832 hours is 243 earth days – this is the sidereal day for Venus (the time it takes to rotate once on its axis).

    A solar day (day-night type of day) for Venus is almost half that at almost 117 earth days.

    The reason for the difference has to do with the fact that while Venus is rotating on its axis it is also revolving around the sun. This takes almost 225 earth days – a Venusian year.
