Those who like to spend time outdoors in the summer, when the day gets hot by 10. It’s still cool enough to enjoy a run, walk, bike, or row at 6:30. I like to do all of those, and I’m 76.
I’m a morning person I am up by 4 am every day, eat breakfast by 6 am and ready and raring to get on with my day. Unfortunately by 9 am when it’s time to start work I’m ready for a lunch followed by a nap because I’ve been up ready to go all morning, but there is no where to go and I can’t get anything done because nothing opens that early in the morning.
moi. same with rob above, i’m up at 4 and fueling up on coffee, ready to rock by 7:30 or so. too bad that most retailers don’t open until 9:30 or 10, but there’s still plenty to do while the rest of the world’s still in bed…
oh, and never mind the idiot part, who really says “considers themselves a morning person”…? auntie really knows how to mangle the english language…
I do. Love the early am with no-one but me and the critters around. Night is the same. The end of the day, and my animals have forgiven me my probably un-necessary human applications to them. I retire with no guilt. Similar to V45mikky, I am useless (and potentially grumpy if nagged about silly details) mid to late afternoon.
I’m not an idiot and I LOVE getting up in the morning by 7. IF I should sleep till 8 and wake up, I feel like my morning has been wasted. I don’t nap in the afternoon, and SOMETIMES I can stay up till 2 a.m., like last night, and STILL be up by 7, and won’t need a nap. HOWEVER! By 9 or 9:15 p.m. I’m sleeping in the chair. (72 next month).
I’m going to give Aunty a pass on this one; obviously as a non-morning person she’s just being a cranky *$@!% and I’m sure she didn’t really mean to call a large portion of her readership “idiots.”
Depends on your definition of morning. My daughter doesn’t get up until 3 PM she works at night, so this is morning for her. My dogs wake me up at 4 AM that is morning for me.

I am up between 3 and 4 every morning. That’s why they are called the wee hours of the morning. After I wee it’s back to bed.

I peak in the afternoon. Nice easy start, exercise mid day, in place for prime time, in bed by 10:00 PM.
