What were you observing that made them want to keep you in?

This is for me a deja vù.

You do know that all those doctors observing you. Even thou they aren’t doing anything there’re still charging you.

This patient has no symptoms and all his vital signs are normal. Let’s cut him open.

When I was dying from a burst appendix many years ago, I was the object of many docs and docs-in-training at the hospital, which didn’t exactly do wonders for my mental state. A guy I knew was bitten by a coral snake and he said many of them also came to his room because they had never seen anyone survive a bite. Not the best bedside manner.

He needs a walletectomy.

He looks more watched over than my wife’s purse. Over our 50 years of marriage, I probably spent 12 of them watching her purse. I don’t know why, it never does anything.

Most definitely out of the past – try finding a physician just “hanging around” the hospital like this, much less 5 of them… ;-)

No more office visits. Straight to exam room, palp, tap, look, listen, pat on shoulder. seeya. Another successful 20 min operation in modern md – the dollar-ectomy on your wallet.

They are observing how much money that the Insurance Company will pay and what he will owe on the balance.

4 out of 5 doctors agree…..you’re not dead.

Not a good sign…

One of the first things I saw in the hospital after my stroke was five doctors around my bed…. observing.

I hope they like what they see.

They are not wearing masks so it can’t be too contagious. Maybe he has just stiffed all those doctors on previous occasions and it’s now payback time. They will get their pound of flesh one way or another……….

Observing very closely.

Also, they said they’re gonna name it after me.
