It’s manga. I think they could get there in a year or two. However, Japanese at university was the only 5 credit hour course I’d seen in the catalog, so they expect you to work at it.

You have to ask yourself, how badly do you want to learn to read that manga? It’s most definitely a commitment.

Well, It’s been longer than that for me and I still have trouble getting past “Ohayo Gozaimasu”.
And, I get totally lost on my way to “Konbanwa”.
