Excellent reply, Adam!
“Why put off until tomorrow what you could do today?”
That applies to quality time with a good book as well as the “I have things to do” time. Don’t cheat yourself of the former.
We need the rain and I need a day in bed!
Adam doesn’t care because it’s “Tomorrow Adam” that’s going to get it.
As a world class perendinator, Adam radiates a sloth field.
Plus if she’s not getting stuff done, it put her in the same boat he’s pretty much already in
I absolutely LOVE this one! I think Adam’s a sweetheart.
Ah, the joys of being retired…singing ‘Tomorrow, tomorrow’….
Does anyone know where I can get a t-shirt that says:
I’M A GOOD BOOK, CURL UP WITH ME!
What a good husband! And he even provides a target for blame.
With all that we do to get ahead it’s okay to coast once in a while and recharge ourselves. Adam, however, is a perpetual coaster.
You’re a good man, Adam.
Their kids must have the day off
It doesn’t take much to talk me into more time reading
Today thankful, tomorrow blameful.
We all should do that occasionally.. be happier for it.
And that’s one of the many reasons that she loves him so…..
Rome was not built in a day… :^)
The power of mañana. I’ve been meaning to write a book about it … for quite some …
time.
Perhaps he could do some of her tomorrow today.
As “perennial” writer, and reader of others’ works, I can so identify with this strip especially this strip as I usually don’t feel like doing much on rainy days except reading and writing.
