I don’t know baseball, but every time I see that the main occupation of the players is to spit and move the hat. But here in Italy they show us only the folklore of this sport .

Could have been chawin’ tobacco with some players.

With Junior’s luck, he’ll be benched the entire game! ;D

i’m pretty sure that javy báez chews sunflower seeds and it was so attractive when the camera zoomed in for a closeup the other day while he was batting and you could see that he was drooling all over his beard…

Never could spit sunflower seeds like that. I always had to open them with my hands. I had a parrot once and vet told me not to feed her sunflower seeds. Very high in fat.

Well he’s too young to grow a beard and too poor to wear lots of gold jewelry, so I guess it’s sunflower seeds by default.

He could have picked up much more worse habits by watching the dugout. Hopefully he learned some of the good habits, the comradery, the encouragement each team member gives to the other along with observing the concept of working as a team……

It’s a good thing he didn’t get sidetracked by the game.

I thought chewing tobacco was banned. Typical kid (spitting).

I guess he should get credit for learning something, especially if he’s going to sit on the bench for most of the game.

Well I guess spitting sunflower seeds while on the bench is better than picking your nose.

I guess he didn’t see anybody do a ‘Michael Jackson’ on their nether regions.

MLB has forbidden spitting , because; COVID.
