It’s true; I’ve never had a spot of trouble from velociraptors on my lawn.

Some scientists are now saying the velociraptor actually evolved over 65 million years into the Canada goose. Just makes me wonder what human beings are gonna look like 65 million years from now!

Anyone know why one arm of the V is longer when the geese are flying?

A Canada goose, AKA the RCAF, will make you sorry if you come too close to it.

Geese, particularly Canada Geese, can be mean. Moving up here means they go south for the winters. I knew a gaggle, flock, herd, whatever, that lived year round in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. I have heard that the coyotes are thinning them out. Yes, coyotes have been seen in GGP for a few years now.

If those guys had been better hunters we wouldn’t have to put up with those geese today.

Back when I was a productive member of society, one of the building complexes had a cooling pond for the chill-water system. This attracted a resident population of geese. During mating season, they’d get aggressive and chase people around.

Geese are nasty. I remember going on an ambulance calls many, many moos ago. We got out to get our equipment and the fun started. My partner that day was an older woman. The geese saw her and started chasing her around the yard. It took the family about 10 min to get them confined so we could get the stretcher in the home and move the patient.
