We had similar white plastic sheeting in the bathroom, with swirly paint patterns with faces all over them. I’d turn the lights off before going.

They aren’t faces just Pareidolia is all.
I see them in tile that imitate pebble imbedded stone floors.
At least it’s smiling. But why?
