He’s wearing his ‘going out in public’ hat. Imagine the fun Ginger has swatting the ears on the bunny slippers. Perhaps the Irish coffee was a bit too far, but it’s 10 AM somewhere.
One of the benefits of Lennie’s career choice. As an MD I hate the paperwork and stuff like that. I do enjoy the telemedicine. The cats on my lap when I am talking with patients not so much. But the Gregerson twins (not their real names) love it when the cats are there. Lots of people love the cats. Thank dog the doggos don’t try to hog the conversations. Lennie has carved out his own career and done a pretty good job of it. He can always tell the boss where to get off and not fear any repercussions. These last 30 years or so with this strip have been an E-ticket ride. Thanks, Lennie. And you too, Ginger. It would not be the same without you.
Work in a school and get the joys of “pajama days!” Unfortunately though, you also run the risk of “enjoying” the creepy old men’s remarks on your morning coffee run. (I was in too much of a rush for the drive through and could have used an evil cat glare to shut them up).

If its casual Friday, should I go to work without my teeth?
We have to wear masks again, maybe no one would notice

With the pandemic and working from home, many people had such casual work days EVERY day.

Now that I’m no longer a productive member of society, my everyday wardrobe consists of cotton drawstring shorts and a tee shirt.
