As if there is table service. You pay big money to have some kid get your name wrong and then he yells out the wrong name when your very expensive crappy coffee is ready then he derides you if you do not rush right over to get it. And when it’s empty and you want a refill, you start all over again. Tirade over. And no, I have not been in one of these in 15 years.
I have been to only two restaurants that had some sort of server call device. One was a Mexican food place that had little flags (Mexican – in the US) one raised to get the server to come over. Another had a button that lit a small lamp over your table (all in booths). Both worked well. The servers didn’t come asking how you were liking “everything” just as you stuffed a blob of their offerings into your mouth, or dilute your tea that you had sweetened just right.
I know this sounds like a new idea but … The first known regular webcam was in a basement at MIT, so that researchers wouldn’t have to go downstairs to see if there was any coffee left. It became so popular, people would message them from as far away as China to let them know it was time to brew more coffee.
2nd strip in a row where someone is wearing a sweater vest. And 3rd strip in a row with someone wearing stipes or a checkerboard pattern. Dan must be thinking of his fall attire.

Only problem is that if you drink too much coffee, you’ll be wired like a ferret all day and won’t be able to slow down. ;/

They should make these and use them at restaurants.

I doubt that that idea will have a significant impact.

It wasn’t designed for coffee; it works much better with beer.
