That looks like a Halloween decoration I used to have of a vinyl witch (stuffed with newspapers) on a broom splatted against a tree. It really looked funny.
Had numerous cottonwood poplars growing up. If you didn’t rake every day in self-defense, the yard would be deeply buried in leaves waiting to be raked.
Has anyone noticed that no one rakes the leaves in the forest, but they are seldom deeper than midcalf? Don’t rake leaves. They compost and return nutrients to the soil.

You could burn it on the leaves with the witch in the middle of it

I see that Broom Hilda’s witchcraft isn’t doing much to help her this time!

There’s a farm nearby that always puts up their ‘witch hit a utility pole’ decoration this time of year.

Here, I thought she was going to crash through the leaf pile.

This is at least the third strip I’ve seen that shows Broom Hilda dozing off while flying. Why hasn’t her license been suspended?

She’s a WITCH, dude. She can just conjure them back into a pile for you, no, yes?
Or even better, make them van

He should thank her instead, she sped up the process, otherwise he’d be back next week raking leaves.

I don’t know why Gaylord’s all bent. Broomie did him a favor by knocking the other leaves down, so he won’t have to go back out to rake, again.

I suggest Broomie get a horse that way when she falls asleep her ride can take her home all by itself.

You would have had to rake them eventually, Gaylord
