Marketing sells things and then tells R&D to build them. They rush things to market with only minimal testing and figure that the first costumers to buy them will complain about what doesn’t work.

“Thoroughly” is a slippery, slippery word.

Saw a family down at the beach yesterday walking along the boardwalk single-file all staring down at their phones. I give up.

Just another example of our value as guinea pigs….

Keep in mind. Your iPhone is obsolete the moment you walk out of the store after buying it.

They do.. unfortunately, the consumer is the tester. The next model is based on customer complaints.. add a few dollars for research and sell. A fine business model if ever there was one.

They also don’t thoroughly test the updates, that’s what we’re for…

Test them? They don’t even do an idiot check on them.

I bought an unlocked blu cell phone that could not make or receive calls with a sim card from 2 different companies. You would think they could nail down the basics. To be fair, I returned it for the next most expensive one and it continues to work flawlessly.

Microsoft’s policy…let the users be the beta testers.

If you don’t sell a tech product until it’s perfect, then by the time it is perfect and ready to sell, it will be obsolete, and your company will have run out of $ and be bankrupt.
