Arlo isn’t tilting at windmills, he’s tilting the earth.

Where I am it’s either too late in the evening or too early in the day for me to be able to guess what she’s thinking. Anyone?

The closer you get to the Equator, the less change in daylight between seasons. But is Aruba a good place to live in retirement?

Gee, if I didn’t know any better I’d think Arlo still dreams of living on a sailboat in the tropics.

It’s impossible not to love Arlo’s admiration for Janis’ choice of clothes.

My favorite time of the year is any day that I wake up, alive and healthy.

I read a complaint once that the writer believed his lawn was affected by the fewer hours of daylight. Pretty sure he felt that the “deer crossing” signs on highways attracted deer and if the state just took the signs down the deer would stop crossing the highway there and not get run over.

Our thoughts go out to JJ and everyone else in Pass Christian. We hope you and all the cats have survived this terrible event.

If you’re going to move to the coast, you need to do it in December, so you can acclimate to the heat and humidity by February! I used to turn my ceiling fans on in February and turn them off in November.

This is a terrible time of year in FL. I’m very glad July and August are finally over, but September is not much better. It gets cooler in mid October and our winters are nice until late April.

I think Arlo is trying to sucker Janis into arguing there is no “they” who controls the length of the day, just to mess with her.

I have another 9 years before I can move to the place I want to. The park that my mom lives in is a 55+ community.

My question would be: ‘Who is they?’ Weather control? Stopping the planet to it’s current orbital position to the sun? Is he hinting that we are in a simulation?
