October isn’t so bad in that penal colony down under.

The mice have hockey practice scheduled starting at the end of October.

Regardless of when Fall begins, my summer won’t end until the pool water temp drops below 68 degrees. That’s the temp, 68, that I can just barely tolerate.

No pool letter needed. Just let it freeze over. The end of grill season letter will be the tough one.

Since Henry closed the pool the days grow long

And soon I’ll hear old winter’s song

But I miss you most of all my darling

When autumn leaves start to fall

Keep it open until it ices over, that way you can commiserate with Louie instead of bringing bad news.

Guess what Louie. We now have an indoor pool for the inter months.

Just put an iceberg in the pool. Louie will get the hint.

Just drain the pool…nah, that won’t work.
