Reincarnated personalities. Hopes to come back on the next turn around as a SUCCESSFULL musician, so he’ll not have to play in dive bars anymore.

As Billy Joel put it, “Today I am your champion I may have won your hearts. But I know the game You’ll forget my name And I won’t be here in another year If I don’t stay on the charts…”

He started out as a Stephen Stills type, but went in a different direction.

Besides their age, Honus Wagner cigarette cards are so rare because he was a non-smoker and never provided written consent for his image to be used.

I turned on the radio one day to hear a country music song I recognized being sung in Vietnamese. I wonder if their songs would sound as weird to us.

Around nineteen years ago, Firefall (remember ‘em?) played our county fair. The radio ads first offered two-fers if you could answer a quiz question, then just offered two-fers, then had a free drawing, then was giving tickets away with admission to the fair. It didn’t quite get to “We have your family. Just go to the Firefall concert and they’ll be released unharmed,” but it was close.

    SOMETHING I MUST SHARE

In July 2021,a man named General Khiem died.He was formerly the Number Two man in the South Vietnamese government.

His obituary says—-"General Khiem was briefly part of a ruling junta before being sent intopolitical exile as Ambassador to the United States.

From Washington in 1964,he conspired with Saigon generals to seize power. But on theday of a planned coup,he forgot to set his alarm clock and overslept.

The coup went ahead without him and failed.

Gee,I never knew Zonker Harris lived in Vietnam in the 1960’s!!

According to Wikipedia, Jimmy Thudpucker is thought to be based on Dylan and John Denver with a smattering of others. I always got a Peter Frampton vibe. Compare the cover of “Thudpucker’s Greatest Hits” as shown towards the bottom of the Wikipedia article with the cover of “Frampton Comes Alive.”

“I do believe, yes I do believe…”That’s right. I bought and listened to Jimmy’s first (vinyl) album back in the day. And I’m a better man for it!
