I wish I could feel the approaching chill, it’s 98 here…going down to 90, and back up again.

I don’t get that morose until the leaves start dropping.

But the cartoonist had a mental block and thought, ’why not do Katy lamenting the autumn schtick’.

As the Starks say … “Winter is coming”.

Yeah, I fee the approaching chill. The minute you stepped outside.

Fuzzy caterwauler?

I’m kinda with her. Fall is depressing. Things dying, going dormant, bleak outlook, cold, wet, unpleasant. Wouldn’t be quite so bad if I wasn’t having to be out in it raking leaves from October to January. And I have to do that or my grass dies under them.

The only chill I’m feelin’ is coming from Katy.

After this summer’s extremely high temps in the PNW I don’t mind it so much this year. Also the smoke from all the fires goes away so you can walk outside without coughing. Never thought I’d say it but I’m almost glad we’re all back to wearing masks again (for now).

Is that supposed to be a raspberry beret?
