I don’t get it

A chase scene is a chase scene, even through fallen leaves

Green ship trying to leaf our guys behind!

Louie is thinking: Please rake all of the leaves into one pile so I can jump into it!

Is this the first time Nate is seen wearing a different color shirt than his usual orange shirt? Maybe he thought it was too similar to the leaf’s color that he wouldn’t be noticed. But did he have to borrow his shirt color from the whalers?

What is the middle Green Pirate holding??

And why?

AH!…Yet another reason to live in the South. Fewer and more strategically placed hardwoods. Pines are the majority of trees around here. They shed but it is more accommodatable… If you want to see the fall colors, go to the mountains; Beautiful.

I think the implication is that the Green Ship guys stole something, and Henry’s crew has to pursue them through the quagmire of autumn leaves.

Pirates taking leaf?

Looks about like the pile of leaves soon to visit my yard, plus what blows over from the neighborhood yards. We live on a windy Mesa in New Mexico.

I know Chip’s renderings of certain objects can get a little wonky at times, but seems pretty clear to me that’s a treasure chest. Too bad they don’t have the mice with them. A little aerial bombardment would slow them up.

Yup—those autumn leaves might keep you from catching the enemy. Uh-oh!
