That’s the problem. The word new. Zig should have bought a ‘used’ doorbell camera. They’re much cheaper and therefore much less desirable to thieves.

There was an episode on NCIS (I think.) Porch pirates stole a bomb meant for the resident. Well-built bomb exploded when opened in their car.

A couple of guys were going around our neighborhood last week pretending to be from the electric company. They skipped those of us with doorbell cams.

Were those the same pirates that stole your pants?
