Every thing is OK if a trumplican does it!

Should a rational normal person do something good for the general welfare of normal reasonable people then it is a blasphemy of socialist, communist ideology and must be resisted at all levels!!

I get to go cast my ballot today for a Canadian national election that the Prime Minister randomly called over two years early because the polls said he could win a majority of the seats in the House of Commons. i get to chose between the party that chose to hold an unnecessary election during a pandemic, a party that doesn’t believe a pandemic is happening, a party that acknowledges the pandemic is happening but it;s not the governments job to do anything about it, a party that wants to give everyone everything they want except make everything optional with regards to pandemic prevention and force the rich to pay for it all, and a party that wants everyone to get vaccinated but doesn’t want to enforce it, or even verify who is vaccinated. The environment party imploded over whether or not to support the Palestinians or the Israelis in the Gaza Strip, so no one is actively campaigning for the environment and they don’t even have a candidate in my riding.

Stantisferstrawmanning, again, unless this, in some way, is being tied to the Texas abortion laws. Seems like Scotty is trying to tie Dem actions to those of the GQP, again. Mix them up and make them all look the same. It’s called discernment.

Arizona legislature has become ‘toxic’ following conclusion of Trump audit

“Ugenti-Rita said that on Sept. 9 she got a deluge of volatile emails accusing her of delaying the audit, but one email with bad grammar and spelling told her to ‘give the American people the audit report or were coming for you,’” said the report. “The writer, an audit supporter who called himself ‘Matt Boster,’ addressed the senator with an ethnic slur and a swear word and said he knows where the senator and her family live and where she shops for groceries.”

But there is also fury coming from Democrats outraged at the tactics employed by the auditors and the senators approving them, with GOP Senate President Karen Fann also singled out for anger. “Fann said she’s ‘absolutely’ noticed a significant uptick in nasty and threatening emails this year that include ‘every four or five letter word you can think of,’” said the report. “‘The emails I’ve gotten from Democrats over these last few months have just been to some point, out-and-out disgusting,’ Fann said.”

Dirty republicans are doing everything they can to destroy democracy in the USA.

In north-east Ohio, it looks like another year of a green/brown/gray Fall. Way too warm for the leaves to begin changing. May have snow first.

Most are off their rails! As long as the goal is to get re-elected, we can expect to see more. There are downsides to term limits but at least the legislators are moved to try to do good rather than blather on and on over sound bits that are clearly lies, but resonate with the base because the goal is to get re-elected.

All of us should wonder why do people work so hard to stay in a job that pays $40K +/- at best at the state level (check here for your state, https://www.ncsl.org/research/about-state-legislatures/2020-legislator-compensation.aspx).
