Nothing new here Betty. Just more Progressive or Liberty Mu insurance commercials. Not sure how they can afford all those ad fees, unless they don’t pay out on their claims. /s
I do not miss seeing lame commercials for male sexual dysfunctions, for problems with bowel movements, for drugs for EVERYTHING, for strange looking foods, and with loud gross music. Cut the cable 15 years ago and luv, luv, streaming!!
I don’t miss them… especially since they are appealing mainly to minorities now..that is unless they need some non-minority to look stupid! I guess they know others aren’t watching them!…or using them for a potty break or snack break.. or painting the living room, and coming back in time to fast forward to the actual show! Please let someone know that they turn a lot of us OFF certain products that way!
Oh yes, I long to return to the days when my TV would suddenly start yelling at me about things in which I have no interest, at a volume higher than what I set it.
There used to be an annual film compilation of the award winners from what is now somewhat grandly called the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannes_Lions_International_Festival_of_Creativity ). Truth be told, lots of the ads were a lot of fun. The Festival is apparently still going on, but I don’t know if the films are still being released. (Who has been in a movie theatre in the year and a half anyway?(

It’s worth leaving the computer on and letting it go to sleep during program.

Now, they’re throwing in a short teaser to make you think the program is back on! GOTCHA! There are 3 more commercials!

It’s only a short step from there to criticising newspaper comics.
