@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our Hero Mr Andrew Cap Is so pickled and went to the wrong house wasting valuable excuses :o) my avatatar again is my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he’ in a good mood like I am how was your day? ours should be slightly busy but we will cope I hope we both are in a good mood , no shopping to do or errands to run just stay in the house in places with A/C or huge fans and keep hydrated , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

She must know Andy from before…I can’t imagine any lady not screaming her lungs out and calling the cops, on seeing a drunk crawl through her front door!

First laugh at a “neither new NOR improved” modern Andy Capp episode in…..weeks? Months? If Andy weren’t one of my all-time favorite comic strip characters (which isn’t the same as the comic strips themselves), I’d have probably stopped reading before Number Three was born—or even Linguist!

But, he is dry for a change.

He’s lucky this is Hartlepool, and not somewhere in the U.S. where the homeowner is likely to shoot first and listen to excuses later.

I bet he wishes he does live there. I’m sure for Andy, there is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch or in bed with a beautiful woman.

It’s been cold here even though it’s been a nice, sunny day. I’m going to put my dressing gown back on. Or “Bath Robe” as our friends in the US say.

I’m also going to post a photo of my new chair tomorrow since I’ve commented rather late today. Just got distracted with other things.

The fact that she believed Andy’s story should have made Andy realize he was in the wrong house.

The odds are way against the likelihood that (a) he’ll remember the story he gave her, once he sobers up (so he can use it on Flo), and (b) even if he does, Flo will believe it.

How did he get in a wrong house? Most houses supposed to be locked.
