My Border Collie would get worked up in anticipation of the incoming meal when I scraped the plate or dish. She really loved her food. Gone but never forgotten.
My cat comes running at the sound of me peeling the foil off his cat food container and my dog comes running when I push the levers down on the toaster (he knows there’s english muffin crumbs to be had)
My Lady’s cats come running when they hear the microwave warming up their skinless/boneless chicken that has been pureed in a blender. But honest, she doesn’t spoil them…
