So—Agnes will be sent to the principal’s office for being late. Whatever the “reason”, she always ends up there.

As others have said earlier, she might as well just stay there!!

“Principal said, “Tell the class, ‘Hello.’”

I think she means “mete out”….

Agnes is an extremely eloquent speaker. The principal was not impressed.

Agnes – Meterer of justice!

Hard to win with those kinds of rules in place.

Poor little misfit. The way they pass her back and forth she’ll never get educated.

She would make a Great President!

At least she checks in……

That would be “mete out justice.” But then that wouldn’t work as well with “mentoring.” Poetic license?
