That’s the second ‘toon in two days (that I’ve seen) mentioning Facebook in the context of Joe Camel. I suppose it IS obvious.

Facebook is a toxic waste of time. Shut it down permanently.

FB is lethal, in more ways than one! Shut it down, permanently!

I thought old Joe would have grey hair by now, it’s been a long time since he was put out to pasture.

They’ve been hanging out together at the Crow Bar.

I remember buying candy cigarettes back in the early 50’s at the only mom & pop store in the small town. Later on certain kids would buy real cigarettes with a handwritten note from their mother who didn’t smoke and misspelled ‘cigarettes’. . . . and she failed to mention the brand she wanted. Just had to remember it had a camel on the pack and we didn’t have to walk a mile. Couldn’t spell “Chesterfield” by listening to Arthur Godfrey on the radio.

Doesn’t some of the responsibility fall on the parents who let their children stay on their phones for hours at a time?

Capitalism has the right answers … if you omit some essential questions.

I read on someones wall about how CompuServe and other platforms had moderators to keep people civil and it worked. Institute proper supervision on Facebook and other platforms to keep people civil and information accurate.
