Most unicorns don’t have a frame of reference for human fashion. She could wear a jester outfit, and they’d assume it’s classy.

What if they we’re at Comic Con?

Could at least wear a Pastel Unicorn T-Shirt.

Rather, no sense of what a grand ceremony is!

I think any amount of dressing up would be more then Unicorns dress up for. I would think unicorns might like sparkles but you might also be showing them up.

I hate those smug, paternal expressions of the parents in the last frame.

Reminds me of the parents in “Calvin & Hobbes” and “For Better or For Worse”.

She should be sparkly

Save a lot on clothes that way!!

Whatever Phoebe wears, there’s a chance she might become the first non-unicorn to win the Marigold Heavenly Nostrils Award.

Or she could be like a Hollywood dress designer and wrap some cellophane around herself and scatter some glitter here and there (and in a few strategic locations since this is a family friendly comic) and call it a “designer dress”…

Comic strip dress code: wear the exact same thing every day if at all possible.

I mean, considering your creator is a bit of an iconoclast (or close to it) herself at times… :P

Wear a shrub. It’s what the most splendid unicorns wear!

Just follow Marigold’s example… add leg warmers, a scarf and sunglasses as accessories to what you are wearing.

I’m not looking that up. Instead, I’ll say that Phoebe may as well wear whatever. It’s not like unicorns’ opinion of humans can get any lower.

How about a cute dress with ponytail and some flats? If it’s chilly, add a legging. Or skirt this issue and wear a cute shirt and skirt.

The main definition of “iconoclast” doesn’t seem to fit. I’m guessing they’re using it in a less common sense… quietly rebellious against cultural expectations, I suppose?
