One bone is a deturent. Its made of rubber. Hope the thief grabs it first.

My late mother had two favorite sayings.
The one quoted by Fred was one of them.
The other was “when not in use, turn off the juice.” That referred to not leaving the lights on in a room if you’re no longer in it.
And Jock agrees. Everything in its place, the place being his mouth.
Silly dog. Hopefully he’s digging up some neutral spot, not his own lawn (tsk!).
