It’s a fine night out for ducks, but not for Bassets, eh Fred!

Just turn and zip back to the cozy chair, curl up in it and close your eyes for a nap. They will get the message.

Yep that is our girls when it rains ! But if I say Walkie ! Rain no longer matters ;-)

Yesterday, Sheela wouldn’t go out back because it was raining. She insisted we suit up and go for a walk and was rather disgusted to find it was raining out front as well.

I can’t blame Fred for deciding that he really doesn’t want walkies in that rain – and, as it is November, it’s bound to be a cold rain, too! A fine night … to spend inside!

That’s my dog. Good thing he came with a 12-hour bladder, because he absolutely refuses to get his feet wet.

I put on a raincoat, my hound, carries on like there is no rain. He shakes it off along the way. Y

Gotta pee sometime!

That’s why we have large overhangs. And why I have a good rain suit. It’s difficult to keep water dogs (Lab/Newfie mixes) out of the rain.

Fred is wise.

Had a dog who didn’t mind the rain, but wouldn’t go anywhere near the sprinkler system!
