The song just happened to come on the jukebox, when my Husband had said,“Come on try a clam.” (It was a clam bake in our favorite bar)…So my answer is eat one of those slimy critters.

i think its a retorical question, i used to ask my dad what wouldnt he do too.. never got that answer but i think he would do anything for love but love itself but in the end he got the girl because if you listen to what she says in the song shes asking him for a lot and hes classified as a monster in the video
