I must keep up tradition.

I dressed as a pirate one year. An older lady asked where my buccaneers were, I told her behind my buccaneyes!

I dress up and go with the kids. But the kids do the trick or treating and I stand back and collect 20 percent.

Last two years we didn’t answer the door. There weren’t many anyway and I guess we’ve become curmudgeons. Of course Covid had a lot to do with that.

I enjoy volunteering at Halloween festivals.I bring candy and skull necklaces for the kids and adults.for some reason,children don’t come to my apartment complex.

Bueno.

If the weather is nice we like to walk around with bags of candy. Lots more fun.

In a BBC skit, an American in London was surprised to find Trick or Treaters on his front doorstep on Halloween. They said they were trying to promote American customs in the UK. He told them he would do the same and told them to get off his property or he would shoot them.

It’s how I dress up but I still like to give out the candy……
