I had a “college mom” who got married at 15 (no, she wasn’t pregnant, it was 1939) who pushed me far too hard when I went to college early. She had no idea I skipped a year and half of high school to get away from home.
What we see here really is schultz’ one indulgence. He loved ice skating and so built a skating rink in his home town just so he could always go skating.
