Big Nate: Nate is on the case part 2“Jenny M’lady what is bothering you” Questioned Nate as he walked towards her.“Nothing of your concern” Yelled Jenny. “Oh come on who knows I could help you” persuaded Nate. “Fine, I lost my earring that my mother gave to me as a gift, Happy?” explained Jenny. “That is terrible Jenny but I know one person who can help you!” offered Nate. “Please don’t” Begged Jenny as she rolled her eyes. Nate ran to his locker. Grabbed his Sherlock Holmes costume and shouted. “This looks like a job for NateWright private eye!” “ Nate, I don’t think you can help me find my earring. You barely know common sense.”Stated Jenny. “What do you mean? I’m a professional detective!” claimed Nate. “Ok Nate” said Jenny “If you find my earring during this week. I will be your boyfriend.” At that moment Nate’s mouth hung wide open in surprise. In his mind he thought “Jenny will be my girlfriend!?!?!” He just felt like his soul was snatched. By a beautiful angel and taken straight to heaven. ”Deal” said Nate as he shook Jenny’s hand. At that moment Nate went straight to work. He grabbed a notepad and A new fresh pencil. But he stopped at the thought of who he would question. He didn’t know who was innocent and who was guilty. But then he had an idea he ran to his locker where Francis was. “Hey Francis buddy o pal I need a favor.” asked Nate “No Nate” declined Francis. “Why not man” asked Nate “It will be a waste of time” replied Francis “Please?” begged Nate. “Fine” said Francis as he and Nate walked away. They both knew that this was going to be a long week!

Normally Chad is a happy-go-lucky kid, but not this time. Ouch.

Francise walked into the room looking dissapointed. “Guys, you can stop the act.” He said. Nate could only watch in horror as everyone was walking out of the lounge. Even Artur! “Francise, what’s going on?” “You tell me.” Said Francis grimly. “You always say you’re over Jenny. So much that I trusted you! And now when Artur and Jenny break up, you like her again?” Nate could see his point. After all, they were best friends. “I thought I was over her. I really did but I guess after waiting for so long for them to break up…” Francise rolled his eyes. “Save it Nate. I thought we could trust eachother.” And he walked away. Nate could only stand there in shock. Had he lost his best friend?

‘So you chose Jenny over Angie. Why?’ asked Francis. ‘Well’ said Nate. ‘I had to live the experience of getting dumped and I don’t want to experience it again.’ ‘How do you know that Jenny’s not gonna dump you?’ asked Teddy. ‘I don’t know, but I can hope she doesn’t’. replied Nate. ‘And if you’ll excuse me, I have to see Jenny.’ said Nate. Francis and Teddy nodded left.

‘Hi Jenny.’ greeted Nate. ‘Oh hey’ responded Jenny. ‘Uhh’ said Nate ‘I actually do wanna be your girlfriend. I like you.’ ‘Jenny nods and hugs Nate.’ They then started going out as P.S. 38’s newest couple. Unknown to them, someone was watching Nate and Jenny, someone who was angry, someone who wanted nothing but revenge, someone who wanted to see them crumble.
