About 45 years ago I attended school board meetings. The schools were awful and the board did nothing to improve things. I attended to question the curriculum, ask for improvements. I wasn’t the only parent there. The board basically blew us off and immediately went to executive session where the parents were excluded. At that point I took my children out of public school. I sacrificed to get them into private school for their sake and their education was top notch. They learned more, developed an enriched vocabulary, were reading above public school levels, knew their mathematics and were critical thinkers. I still get ‘thank you’ from them as adults. Public schools sink to the lowest common denominator on all fronts.
When people verbally and physically assault school board members, when people stalk them, publish their addresses, or threaten their families, that is disposable. It is a blatant attempt to frighten people away from serving — in order to force in people who nobody would otherwise elect.

People are not just raising their voices they are screaming like raving lunatics at these meetings.
They are also physically attacking teachers and board members as well over a mask mandate aimed at protecting their children.
