Oh, I’ve got something inside me

    To drive a princess blind

    There’s a wild man wizard

He’s hiding in me, illuminating my mind

Oh, I’ve got something inside me

    Not what my life’s about

‘Cause I’ve been letting my outside tide me

Over ’til my time (Over ’til my time) runs out

    — Harry Chapin, “Taxi”

When I was entering the 6th Age I listened to this song very carefully, pulling this lyric and making it an inspiration for me. I spent the next two (my last two) years, while still working in an organization, designing my own consulting practice. I am still in that practice today. This has remarkably enriched and elongated my 6th Age and I am so much more happy because of it.

The tree is the only unchanging, everlasting constant … as it should be.

I wish the stone watchtower at the Harlow residence on Marmion Way in Rockport, Mass deserved this fate with our family’s sides – sigh!!
