Close call, Farley.

The annual “Farley eats the candy cane off the Christmas tree” comic strip. This year, Farley does not get sick, yet, so that is an improvement. Instead April provides the distraction by not only crawling on a table, but for going the telephone. I suspect Elizabeth is not as impressed by April’s climbing ability as I am.

That is the most adorable thing I’ve seen. Farley was a good ’ole boy.

So, who else hangs canes on their tree at ankle level?

Enjoy that victory while you can, Farley. Thanks to the one getting reprimanded here, it eventually does not go well for you at all.

I sure hope there’s no cellophane wrapper involved. Huh, I wonder what candy plus pine needle residue tastes like.

I love Farley.

I will say that I always did like those subtle tones of personification that Lynn worked into Farley from time to time..

I miss Farley. Wish Lynn would do a limited update of the kids with Farley #2 or 3.

Hey, someone is actually watching April today!

It can sometimes be hard to read strips with Farley and April together.

What is the child holding? :-)

Farley is a GOOD DOG to even stop for a moment when he hears “Put it back!” My dogs interpreted any words they heard after swiping something to mean “Immediately run out the dog door!”

Also, I like Farley’s expressions in each panel!
