The early bird gets worms? Nobody wants to have worms. But then there are those who insist on taking deworming medicine (for horses no less). What are they trying to tell us?

The early bird gets wormed.

You’re just lucky you weren’t crushed in the fall!

But, the early worm gets eaten by the bird. So, I stay in bed until noon.

One of the best of this arc was where the bird got the worm, then got a really ick look on his face and said, Wonder what it take to get scrambled eggs or something similar.

But the second mouse gets the cheese…

The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,

The worms play pinochle with your snout

The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out

Into your stomach, and out your mouth

They eat your intestines, they scramble your heart

Now you fell like you’re falling apart

This is how it is to die

Too bad if the early bird got zonked!

The early bird gets the early worm, then he can take a nap.

But the later mouse gets the cheese.

Early or late, there’s always another worm.
