This isn’t funny, Joe. We need to show Kris that not all cops in this world are crooked.

JumpStart is a must read. Robb Armstrong has been such a solid strip. Robb is such a great writer for Jumpstart with a stable of excellent characters. I’ve read this strip since right after it came into wider distribution. Thank you Robb for showing us a way to become better human beings.

I am so glad that Robb created this strip. It is such a nice blend of hilarious and serious, good and bad, with a healthy dose of positive behavior in among the drama! And, as always, it IS only a comic…which means that anything goes! Thanks, Robb! (are we all on a first-name basis?)

Mummers Parade on a long weekend this year. You can hang around until the stringbands finally show up.

And put the parade route back to the Melrose Diner.

I like the strip, but I am often confused. There are so many characters and the home page does not have a cast list. I need reminders on who is who and how they are all related.

TV Reporter : The New York Times is reporting that you and Hardin were good friends. Is that true?

The President : No, not quite.

Jack Ryan : [watching on TV] Shh, shh. Hey, hey, hey.

The President : We weren’t good friends, we were lifelong friends.

Jack Ryan : I said that. I said that. I told him to say that.

(From Clear and Present Danger the movie, about dead on with the book.)

You know, having the expanding emoji “language” enhances the character reactions very well!
