Pride goes before a fall – literally. Poor kid! Trying to show off a bit for the little girls. Such an innocent thing, childhood. Goes so quickly. Well, things didn’t go as he planned, and they giggled but hopefully they won’t be mean and tease him. Why don’t you help him up, Fred?

Failed bicycle kick, or was he trying to kick the direction he was looking? Looks like me in middle school. I think all the girls I tried to impress saw a similar sight.

YAY!! The PARADE IS BACK

I’ve just been reading today’s Andy Capp strip which also features a game of football. As I just mentioned on Andy Capp, Thanksgiving is a US holiday but it originated with English settlers. Originally, it was similar to the Harvest Festivals in England.

So was that a soccer “flop” lesson?

As in sports and life, it’s always better to do it, before bragging about it.
