It’s not easy to learn a second language.

Turkeys don’t look in a pardoning mood.

Lets see how they talk after Thanksgiving.

The turkey almost became the national bird of the United States. If Benjamin Franklin had had his way, maybe people would be eating bald eagle for Thanksgiving.

Pretty sure I’ve told my grackle-concert story here before. Suffice it to say that grackles are incapable of making any sound that we would consider musical, but they can make a lot of sound, and it’s almost always entertaining to listen to.

When we lived in the woods of Maine we had about 30 turkey hens who showed up every morning in the winter for corn I would throw out for them. They slept high up in the pine trees. Let me tell you, the first time you look up and see 30 large turkeys in the trees is quite a startling experience.

Not nice to insult those that you want to be like…

I’ve never gargled Wild Turkey. Why would I want to?

The little bird will be alive in December.

Really, do you want to emulate a turkey this time of year?

Poor Bird is also going to need to do a Lot of Gargling to heal the damage that does to his vocal chords.
