I once left my tracker on a shelf overnight with one of those motorized white noise machines. By the next morning it had accumulated some ridiculous number of steps, giving me a bunch of achievement “medals” I couldn’t delete from the app, forever throwing off my stats. :@

They did step challenge at work and you’d get a step counter if you signed up – trouble is they were a little over sensitive and a lot of people got a fair few steps driving into work

step counters don’t work for me. My arms are bigger than normal so i can’t even get a watch that I don’t snap the band off in under a week, and we aren’t allowed to carry our phones while working at my job.

The latest thing is a sensor that straps to your calf. Much more accurate than a wrist device.

This isn’t helping her do the “you” part of taking 10,000 steps a day. But, of course, the stepping wasn’t her idea in the first place.

Just putting my pants on = 10 steps.

I would wear one out with my bathroom trips at night.

“10000 steps a day,” Gaylord? Alas, our deucedly clever Broom-Hilda is closer to 10000 strawberry ice cream cones a day….
