I didn’t know he was smart enough to check out your online shopping. If you don’t want him to browse your browsing, get a second computer and don’t share the password.

You can set separate users on any computer, with different log-ins and different desktops. No need for a new computer. Just log out when you are done. Complete privacy…as long as you do NOT give anyone your password. Some of us do know how to access a computer when it is locked, but do not ask how it is done.

Just go to the router log and view all the sites visited… Doesn’t matter what computer is used – the router knows and tracks where you’ve been…

My recently deceased wife was only able to “surprise” me a couple of times in the 34 years of marriage. Most recently it was because of all of the “thieves” out there and alerts from the bank saying a credit card was used and where it was used. Crooks are so good at ruining things for the honest people.

All he has to do is use the computer for ten minutes and the ads will tell him what she’s been looking at.

Your browsing history, but not your shopping history.

She needs to learn to use an incognito or private window. It doesn’t leave any browsing history behind, so you can avoid having anyone else see where you’ve been.

Have separate XP desktop computers & share a Win 10 one which is used rarely for what cannot be run on XP. We each have laptops – in my case I have 2 Win XPs & this Win 10 (which I hate).

We don’t order anything unless it something we NEED & there is no other way to get the item. Deliveries always have some problem or another. We tried ordering groceries during the pandemic both from Walmart & BJs to avoid going out – in mid May 2020. BJs had emailed a coupon for free delivery

BJs had a shopper who bought &delivered the items directly to the house. As soon as she started shopping the text messages started coming that they did not have this item or that. We had ordered mostly meat items as that was what we were low on (had not been food shopping or out since mid March). As an alternative to one meat item that they were out of we were offered a bag of ice? We ended up with only one meat item 7.5 lbs of VERY fatty stew meat. We had to fight get refunds for the items not delivered.

So he decided to order items which were not meat from Walmart. Walmarts here do not deliver. For 4 days we received an assortment of small cartons shipped to us from across the country – New England to California. Over half the cans were dented – some almost in half. Neck of cooking oil bottle bent over so far that it never straightened out. Boxed items like cake mixes looked as if someone had danced on them.

That was when we started making bi-monthly trips to buy food & we would buy so much it did not fit in the cart so we would go in & buy non-cold items, pay, bag, put in car. Go back in and buy cold foods, pay, etc.

If he has to order something I have to come & help & I will see the package arrive & get the invoice as I pay the bills.

And he would never dare buy me anything as a gift – he knows I don’t want anything so it would be a waste of money and if I needed something we will buy it together – other than pandemic related – in a store, generally Walmart.
