If Nate had any interest in going to summer camp this year, he would’ve said something before it was too late. Sitting around all day, playing on the computer and watching TV, sounds like a great way for him to spend his summer vacation.
Too bad Nate couldn’t get into camps with his online bully buddies. He could “thank” them by tormenting them, camp style. (ah come on, folks, you can name several ways, eh?)
My kids are headed to camp on Sunday. My wife is still mad that I told her $400 for each child was too much. She then pointed out that we would have the house and pool to ourselves. We wouldn’t be feeding all the friends that use our pool, or washing tons of towels that they use, or cleaning up their mess. (I didn’t tell her that I would miss the teenage girls that come over for our high schooler. I want to live.)
