Finally!!! A date will be made. I do know two couples getting ready to be married a second time couldn’t get everyone to their wedding. They got tired of the hassle and just went to a wedding chapel while the kids were in school and got married. They are still married.
When my husband and I got married 35 years ago, we got married in my church. The church ladies took care of EVERYTHING for us. I decided on what dress, and we decided on the cake. Everything else was done for us. The church ladies had known me since I was born. They had changed my diapers, wiped my tears over boys, cheered me when I graduated from college and approved of my fiance (oh, he was a choir boy too, what is his vocal range?).

When faced with the inevitable, do what men have done all through history, which is “pretty much whatever the women want.”

Like what? The guests? The setting? The florist? The photographer? The band? The caterer? The cake?

The only task the groom has is to "Be There and say ’I Do. ’ "
Worked for me, not quite fifty years ago.

As the father of the bride I told my wife “Just tell me where and when I have to be and how much to write the check for.”
